Join us for a Member-Only Coffee Social presentation, hosted in Singer Hall in the Administration Building of the Phoenix Art Museum. Coffee and pastries will be served.
Woman with Jar by Paul Pletka
Guarding the Art: A Frontline Perspective challenges traditional museum hierarchies, highlighting artworks from the PhxArt Collection chosen by guest curators selected from the Museum’s frontline staff. Paul Pletka’s Woman with Jar “captures the artistic contributions of Indigenous art”. Learn about this groundbreaking exhibition initiative from Coordinating Curator Cristian Ramirez and Co-Curator Destiny Montoya and join Master Docent Cindy Moore to engage with the artwork and discover the layers of meaning in Pletka’s meticulously executed painting.
