Join guest curator Heather Lineberry for an in-depth look at Eric Fischl: Stories Told, an exhibition spanning Eric Fischl’s career from the late 1970s to today. This casual, conversational session illuminates Fischl’s ongoing exploration of the human figure, capturing complex, emotionally charged moments that touch on social taboos, family secrets, masculinity, privilege, and the tension between public and private life.

Beyond his international acclaim, the talk will also highlight how Fischl has profoundly shaped the Phoenix arts community through mentorship and philanthropy, making this exhibition a meaningful homecoming.
