Make It! with Artists Kyllan and Alizarin Maney

Join mother-daughter artist team Kyllan and Alizarin Maney to create your own paper fashion ensembles. Gather inspiration from Generation Paper: Fast Fashion of the 1960s and experiment with patterns and stencils to create your own miniature versions of wearable art.  All materials provided.

Make It! is free and open to the public during Pay What You Wish Wednesdays. 

 

About Artist Kyllan Maney

Kyllan Maney’s work is rooted in the interactive process between the viewer and her work. She enjoys working with color and pattern in large scale paintings and murals. Kyllan has created numerous commercial and residential murals including at MonOrchid, Downtown Phoenix, Intel, Paypal, The Dhaba, Mesa Public Library, and Roche Diagnostics. Most recently, she was the recipient of the 2021 Influx commission for the City of Tempe where she created artwork for banners on the Edna Vihel building. As a teaching artist, Kyllan shares her knowledge as an Instructor and Visual Arts Coordinator at New School for the Arts and Academics.

 

About Artist Alizarin Maney

Alizarin Maney is a recent graduate from New School for the Arts and Academics. She is a figurative illustrator with a focus on diversity and abnormality. Her art can be found online @alizardinyourroom on Instagram, Tumblr, and TikTok.

Acerca del artista Kyllan Maney
