Breaking Ground 2023 Contemporary Dance Festival Preview

Join us for live dance in the galleries! Phoenix Art Museum proudly hosts a special preview of the Breaking Ground 2023 Contemporary Dance Festival. Carley Conder, artistic director for contemporary dance company CONDER/dance, launched the annual festival in 2007 to present a diversity of movement, subject matter, and multidisciplinary collaborations. This preview is meant to open a window onto the wider world of contemporary dance. By creating vibrant new works, providing platforms for artists to present innovative voices in dance, and build bridges worldwide through international cultural exchange, CONDER/dance's objective is to enlarge the artistic environment that is vital to the cultural fabric of Arizona. ¡Únete a nosotros para bailar en vivo en las galerías! El Phoenix Art Museum se enorgullece en presentar el preestreno especial del Festival de danza contemporánea Breaking Ground 2023. Carley Conder, directora artística de la compañía de danza contemporánea CONDER/dance, lanzó el festival anual en 2007 para presentar una diversidad de movimientos, temas y colaboraciones multidisciplinarias. Este avance pretende abrir una ventana al mundo más amplio de la danza contemporánea. Al crear obras nuevas y vibrantes, brindar plataformas para que los artistas presenten voces innovadoras en la danza y construir puentes en todo el mundo a través del intercambio cultural internacional, el objetivo de CONDER/dance es ampliar el entorno artístico que es vital para el tejido cultural de Arizona.
