Step into a world of style, creativity, and self-expression inspired by the exhibition The World of Anna Sui! This month’s Family Funday celebrates the vibrant intersection of fashion and art with a full day of interactive activities, storytelling, and hands-on fun for the whole family. Programming includes:
Art + Fashion + Science with the Arizona Science Center - Explore the science behind fashion—from fabric innovation to wearable tech – with the Arizona Science Center
Pattern Play - Explore the patterns of iconic designer Anna Sui and the connection to microscopic worlds of nature
DIY Fashion Accessories with There Space - Design and create one-of-a-kind accessories to wear and share.
Mix and Match - Design your own outfit with local fashion designer Angela Johnson, Cofounder of Fabric Incubator
Totally Rad Throwbacks - Relive the fun of the '80s and '90s by decorating slap bracelets and creating custom buttons
Scent-sational Art - Design your own perfume bottle with PhxArt Archivist Aspen Reynolds
