In conjunction with PhxArt’s Color of Noir film series, we’re reading James Ellroy’s iconic hard-boiled epic L.A. Confidential. Set in 1950s Hollywood, the story revolves around three members of the LAPD who are investigating a grisly mass murder in an all-night diner. In classic noir form, the line quickly blurs between good and bad.
