Bring the whole family to Phoenix Art Museum for a day of hands-on creativity and play! Designed for visitors of all ages, Kids Day at PhxArt features interactive in-gallery art-making, Storytime, and dynamic performances that connect you with PhxArt’s collection and special exhibitions.
This October, Kids Day is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. Immerse yourself in a cultural experience with art-making, music and dance:
- Noon–5 pm | Explore the tradition of Talavera and create your own tile design
- Noon–5 pm | Enjoy mask-making with the Cultural Coalition
- Noon–5 pm | Shop the Lemon Library book sale and donate to the children's book drive
- Noon–5 pm | Stop by El Fogón de Joy food truck for authentic Mexican cuisine
- 1:30–2 pm | Join us for a Storytime reading of Señorita Mariposa by Ben Gunersheimer
- 2–2:45 pm | Dance performance by Desert Sounds Mariachi group
